New paid collections internship opportunity!

Collections work at Charles Dickens Museum

We are thrilled to be able to offer a paid collections internship at the Museum!

This position has been made possible due to a grant from The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

The Museum is looking for an enthusiastic student or graduate with an interest in nineteenth-century art and illustration to work on the Museum’s 2016 Artwork Project. The project’s goal is to catalogue to a publication standard, 250 artworks in the Museum’s collection and begin the process of linking artworks with Picture Library images in preparation for an online collection database.

The post is ideally four days a week for a period of four months; however we are prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.
