The Museum welcomes school parties . We are
currently preparing a number of resources for teachers to prepare
a visit to the Charles Dickens Museum.
Teachers may book a Handling Session at the Museum or arrange
a visit of the Museum's education officer to the school (free
or charge but subject to conditions). The Handling Box can also
be hired (for a nominal charge) by schools.
The Museum has three reconstructed rooms (Drawing Room , Morning
Room, Wash House) and four exhibition rooms. Unfortunately, we
do not have lunch facilities.
The Museum is happy to join educational projects and support the
teaching of Dickens in the class room.
Teachers may use the research library for preparation.
