Coalbeater's Arm
This Coalbeater's Arm was taken from No. 2. Manette St. Soho and is The Original Sign mentioned by Charles Dickens in his Tale of Two Cities.

From Chapter 6:
"The quiet lodgings of Dr. Manette were in a quiet street corner not far from Soho Square. A quainter corner than the corner where the Doctor lived, was not to be found in London. The Doctor occupied two floors of a large still house, and in a building at the back gold was beaten by some mysterious giant who had a golden arm starting out of the wall - as if he had beaten himself precious, menaced a similar conversion of all visitors. Occasionally a stray workman putting his coat on, traversed the hall, or from across the courtyard, a thump was heard form the golden giant."
