Perigrinations of Pickwick by William Lemen Rede
Pickwick was a very popular character for plagiarisation, as the use of his name attracted the crowds. William Lemen Rede is notorious for exploitation the Pickwickian fame for his stage adaptations, so too is A.W.T. Moncrieff, who impudently said that his plays vastly increased the sale of Dickens's own Pickwick Papers.
