The Back Parlour The Back Parlour
The room that was once the back parlour of Charles Dickens's home at 48 Doughty Street has now been converted into the Museum Store. It is filled with various items of Dickens memorabilia, books, and some general items reminiscent of the Victorian era. The items include those you would expect to find: Postcards, Dickens's novels, books about him and his works, and collectibles such as mugs and posters. It also includes some more interesting pieces for sale including miniatures of characters from novels, quill pens, old and rare copies of selected works, and miniature busts of Dickens. These items and more are available for purchase when visiting the museum.
