Smoking Turk Sculpture
Plaster sculpture of a smoking Turk from Dickens's study at Gad's Hill Place, his last home. Made in 1853, it was purchased by Mrs. F. Haines at a sale of Dickens's possessions on 9 July, 1870, and donated by her granddaughter.
