Chalk and Crayon Drawings
These two portraits, both sketched by Samuel Laurence, are of Charles Dickens and his wife Catherine Dickens. The two drawings were completed while Charles and Catherine were residing at 48 Doughty Street; Charles in 1837 and Catherine in 1838.
