 “Bah!” said Scrooge, “Humbug!” Step into the world of Victorian Christmas! From festive trees to plum pudding, gift giving to roast turkey, many of our Christmas traditions were popularised by the Victorians, and in particular by Charles Dickens, thanks to his famous little book; A Christmas Carol. On this 50 minute guided tour, you’ll be led through the beautifully decorated home of Charles Dickens by Mrs. Cratchit herself! You’ll be immersed into the world of a Victorian Christmas, and will even have the opportunity to handle some objects from our collection. Designed with the little ones in mind, and with Christmas smell blocks and family activities along the way, this is the perfect way for your whole family to get into the festive spirit. But don’t worry; Scrooge’s and other humbugs are welcome too! Suitable for children aged 5+
