Marley was dead: to begin with...
Join us for a terrifyingly enjoyable evening, as you explore the London home of Charles Dickens, led by an unearthly guide. 'The Ghost of London Past' once appeared to the great author himself, and now it has returned. Heed its warning and hear its haunting tales of life in the Victorian era.
Your ghostly guide will lead you from the shadowy basement kitchens, through the splendour of the Dickens home, to the quiet nursery in the attics. Along the way, you'll uncover the dark side of Victorian London, and how this impacted the life, work and family of Charles Dickens.
Perhaps you'll even question if we've changed that much today...
