A ghost walks up a London street.

Marley was dead: to begin with...

Join us for a terrifyingly enjoyable evening, as you explore the London home of Charles Dickens, led by an unearthly guide 'The Ghost of London Past.' Encounter this spectral guide as it haunts the home of the great writer. Experience the dark side of Victorian London, as your ghostly guide immerses you into a world of baby farms and hangings, monstrous murders and deadly disease.

From the shadowy basement kitchens, through the splendour of the Dickens home, to the quiet nursery attics, you’ll hear the haunting tales of real people and real experiences in the Victorian era, and uncover the awful inspirations behind the writing of Charles Dickens. Perhaps you’ll even question if we’ve changed that much today…

 Note

This is an entertaining and thought provoking guided tour, brought to you in collaboration with Spectrum Drama. Guests are led through the historic home of Charles Dickens by The Ghost of London Past.

The tour is suitable for all ages, but please note that the subject of the tour focusses on the darker side of Victorian London, such as crime, punishment and poverty. Parental discretion is advised.

Tour groups are no larger than 15 people.
