Thank you so much for making this video. I was reading something about Charles Dickens that said he would walk by the store at 137 Leadenhall Street and pat the Little Midshipman on the leg for luck.

The address jumped off the page and I pulled out a letter written by Mr. Coleman of the Navigation School at 137 Leadenhall Street in December of 1842. Mr. Coleman was extolling the abilities of one of his students, Octavius Child. Octavius is my great-great grandfather.

The Little Midshipman is very special to me and I included a photo of him in my book on the Child family. We were in London from the United States in 2012 and I had hoped to come by and see him, but unfortunately you were closed at that time.
