A Walk with Charles Dickens along the Thames

Walk in the footsteps of Charles Dickens along the iconic River Thames, from Vauxhall Bridge to Canary Wharf (6.5miles/6km). You can also choose a part of the walk to explore. Conceived and written by Ros Connelly and illustrated by artist and cartographer Helen Cann, the map also includes excerpts and illustrations from Dickens' novels. It shows you where to walk, what to see and includes step-free routes, an essay on the significance of the Thames in Dickens' work and information on transport and historic inns.
