The year is 1925. The doors of 48 Doughty Street are opening for the very first time as the Charles Dickens Museum—and you’re invited.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we mark the centenary of the museum with Dickens’s Daughter, a brand-new immersive guided tour. You’ll be welcomed into Dickens’s historic Bloomsbury home by a very special guest: Catherine “Katey” Perugini, artist and daughter of Charles Dickens himself.

Walk in the footsteps of one of the world’s greatest storytellers as Katey personally leads you through the family’s former home, sharing vivid memories and untold stories from behind the scenes. Discover how the museum came to life in 1925 with the help of Dickens’s surviving children.

From cherished family anecdotes to dark secrets, social expectations to soaring ambition, you’ll hear it all from someone who lived it. Along the way, enjoy a closer look at the museum’s treasured collection, brought to life by Katey’s unique perspective.

Presented by a live costumed actor, Dickens’s Daughter is a vibrant, entertaining experience for all ages—perfect for history lovers, families, and Dickens fans alike.

Celebrate 100 years of the Charles Dickens Museum with this exclusive event. History has never felt so alive.
