Imagine, Investigate, Invent!

Join the education team as we explore the different inventions you might have found in Victorian homes, just like that of Charles Dickens. As we travel through the rooms of his house, we will imagine just what life was like in the 1830s and how keen people were to come up with labour-saving devices to make their lives easier. We will have a chance to examine some of the adverts for patented designs which featured in Dickens’ own publications, and get creative coming up with some new-fangled devices for our 21st century lives today!
