This beautiful tablemat depicts the famous portrait 'Dickens's Dream' created by Robert Buss. Charles Dickens sits at his writing desk, surrounded by sketches of his many iconic characters. The portrait was intended to be completed in colour, however Buss died before he was able to complete the project. Its incompletion adds to the portrait's ethereal quality, however, evoking a powerful image of Dickens's creative genius.
