Coloured Glass Coaster

£5.50

This coaster features an image of a section of an otherwise destroyed stained glass window originally presented to the Stockport Sunday School Branch of the Dickens Fellowship on 28th October 1909. The surviving fragment depicts Charles Dickens in profile, perhaps using a photograph by George Herbert Watkins as reference.

The original can be found on the ground floor of the Charles Dickens Museum.
