Unfinished Works

Charles asked Wilkie’s brother, Charles Collins, to illustrate what would be his last, unfinished work, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.  Charles Collins managed to produced his cover illustration before bowing out due to ill health and Luke Fildes completed the illustrations. It was later assumed that Wilkie had written John Jasper's Secret a sequel that completes the story of Drood.
