Letter from Charles Dickens to Frederick Ouvry
In this letter, Dickens drafts his contract for the publication of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Dickens asked to be paid £7,500, an enormous sum compared to the £500 he was paid to write Oliver twist 30 years before.
